  • 1.  DVA Fee Schedule - making an agenda item for the HPPF

    Hi folks,

    I hope you are all well. I was just wanting to see if anyone wanted to join me in submitting an agenda item request for the DVA HPPF next week. (I will be attending online)

    I have probably left it a bit late, but we can still use the opportunity to voice our concerns. I was going to ask if, how and when the DVA intend to review fee schedules as they are currently not sufficient for orthotist/prosthetists, and I am aware this is also an issue for other allied health. I would be happy to add any other names and organisations to the end of the form.

    As I said, I probably have left this a little late, but we can always try :)

    Osteopathy Australia would be happy to join onto this as the fees are well below average 

    Even if it doesn't make it to the agenda, its worth flagging with them and giving it a go

    Hello Natasha,

    I am unable to attend the meeting next week in Canberra unfortunately, but I encourage your initiative to collaborate with other members to raise the impacts of the DVA fee schedule. We have not nominated a proxy for the meeting, however if you have a representative attending I can speak to Bronwyn about identifying a proxy. Perhaps Alissa from OTA? but I am happy with suggesting another AHPA member.
